Week 2 - Project Comfirmation

Accomplishments

1. In the second week of class, four of us (Yilun Bai, Jiawei Zhang, Zhouyang Jin, Zuyan He) mainly focused on discussion of detailed functionalities and designs.

2. After discussion, we all agreed to use Arduino Nano development board as our processor.

3.In general, everyone contributes ideas on this project and done some researches on parts of the project. We confirmed the type of sensors, batteries and other specific parts. We created parts lists and Bill Of Materials file, which can be found in Documents Section.

4. Yilun drew the hand-drawing first draft of the design and posted on the website under Documents section.

5. Yilun and Jiawei wrote the proposal of our project. Zuyan revised the proposal.

Plans on Next Week

1. Continue to do research on the parts of the project.

2. Learn how to use Eagle to create schematics of the project.

3. Participate the Co-motion tutorial session of LPKF machine.

4. Start to work on the PCB design.

5. Draw the schematic of the circuit on Eagle.
